Julie Mayerson Brown is an author, essayist, and playwright. Her Clearwater Series, five novels and a YA novella, takes place in a charming town in California Wine Country. The books all feature lovable, quirky characters, adorable dogs, best-friendships, and delicious sticky buns. In addition to feel good stories, Julie writes book club fiction that delves into darker themes of family dysfunction, betrayal, and suspense. She lives in Los Angeles with her family and a pack of rescued boxers.

Rachel Del Grosso writes witty, warm, and painfully honest stories about strong, imperfect women. She began writing at a very young age, but has since learned to write in complete sentences. Rachel was born in Ontario, Canada, and now lives in Las Vegas with her husband and son. She is the author of Eleanor & Sam, Fine, But Not Finished, Another Kind of Green, and the forthcoming Lost and Found trilogy, releasing in 2026.

Sara LaFontain is an Arizona-based writer and book coach. She is the author of the romantic women’s fiction Whispering Pines Island collection, and the Corbitt Calamities thriller series. She also writes as part of the collective pen name Ivy H. Booker. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, crafting, and enjoying the dry heat of the Sonoran Desert. She is a member of the Women's Fiction Writers Association and the Tucson Author Alliance.

What Sara likes to read: Sara gravitates toward light reads with dark elements, especially with flawed characters and messy people making mistakes. She especially likes unpredictable twists, bad people getting what they deserve, and non-gratuitous murders.

Florida writer Jen Sinclair is the award-winning author of contemporary character-driven fiction that explores complicated relationships, love, loss, and all the messiness of life. As her novels, There’s Always a Price and According to My Science show, she uses humor, heart, and compelling plot elements to explore what it means to be human. Jen also collaborated on the dark friendship fiction novel, The Accidental Life of MF Ascher under the pen name Ivy H. Booker.

What Jen likes to read: Jen loves everything from the warm embrace of a romance to the twists and turns of a psychological page-turner. The common denominator in the books she reads are complicated characters worth rooting for (and against) and a plot that has more emotional depth than scene description.
